The Sea Robin
The Sea Robin’s scientific name is Prionotus carolinus. They live around coast, sandy bottoms, waterbeds, and more places. The Kingdom is Eukarya, the domain is Animalia, the phylum is Chordata, the class is Actinopterygii, the order is Scorpaeniformers, the family is Triglidae, the genus is Prionotus, and the species is carolinus. These fish are reddish and brown. Northern Sea robins go inshore when it’s spring and when it’s fall they go off shore. People can it this kind of fish but it is scarce over on Maine. Sea robin stay at the bottom but they swim actively, they can be called gurnard, they like warm water temperature, and have two dorsal fins. A dorsal fin is what helps the fish stay centered, not rolling over and over. The Sea robins eat anything that they want, smaller fish , small shrimp, they are also a heterotrophic.
